Sneak Peek into the Atlanta Gift Show

I have been showing my work at the Atlanta Gift Show for 16 years now and wanted to share some pictures of my booth with you. This show is a great one because stores from all over the world come to visit and to make their purchases. The hustle and bustle of getting ready for opening day can really be a challenge but it is always exciting because we get to spend time with our friends and see old familiar faces. The show people say that the attendance this year was record breaking and you could tell by the pitter patter of feet going every which way... plus sales were up from last year. Most of the stores that we do business with come to this very show to select the items they wish to carry. Everything is seen close up and making a decision for them can be easy or hard which ever way you look at it. I choose a rather simple palette for the design of the booth and for my my setting. I like to leave the vision up to our customers so I never create a themed world for my pieces. Glass and simplicity is the best way to go for me as we have so many uniquely different shops and galleries who carry my art pieces. Here is an example of our setup before the show starts, and because my designs retire you will always see that we have added and subtracted pieces year after year... Carolyn, thanks for taking the great shots!!!!
